Energy Efficiency and Renewables: Competing or Complementary Technologies

This years Energy Efficiency Conference “EE-Global 2009” will take place end of April in Paris and Dr. Marianne Osterkorn, Director of REEEP will moderate one of the executive sessions about “Energy Efficiency and Renewables: Competing or Complementary Technologies”. Often renewable energy technologies receive greater policy support than do energy-efficiency technologies therefore this session will feature a discussion of why and how policies need to support them both.

Upfront to this event, Director of Development at the Alliance to Save Energy Chuck Wilson interviewed Dr. Marianne Osterkorn to give you an overview about the main topics that will be discussed during this session.

I am sure this will be a very interesting session and I hope to see many of our reegle-blog readers there (don’t forget to meet me at our booth) … If you are not able to come to Paris – continue to read this blog – I will keep you informed 🙂
