Interview on reegle’s semantic web approach

A few days ago I did an interview with semanticweb.com, explaining why the semantic web and (linked) open data are an important tool to facilitate the renewable energy and energy efficiency marketplace and how we use these technology to add value to the information we provide on reegle.info.

One Example: On reegle a lot of information is enriched by data from other data providers, resulting in comprehensive information dossiers, like the Energy Country Profile pages which summarize the most important energy related information (eg. Regulations, Statistics, Organisations, …) for all countries worldwide and a clean energy glossary.

The interview is available at http://semanticweb.com/ready-for-renewable-energy-reegle-semantic-search-portal-wants-to-help_b18370.

Edit 16.3.: Another interview was just released on the semantic-web blog 🙂

On http://www.reegle.info all available information is enriched by data from other data providers, resulting in comprehensive information dossiers, like the Country-profile pages which summarize the most important energy related information (eg. Regulations, Statistics, Organisations, …) for all countries worldwide and a clean energy glossary.
