Reegle wins “Standard of Excellence” award

Again reegle has good reason to celebrate: we have been awarded the Non-profit Standard of Excellence award by the prestigious Web Marketing Association WMA WebAwards 2011. WMA is a great platform for complementing many of the best works done in the industry.

Reegle, the clean energy information portal has again proved its quality by qualifying as a winning entry in this yearly challenge that is a benchmark for website quality across the globe.

WMA has been creating high standards for excellence since 1997 by providing unbiased judging for the efforts of online resources. Their judges come from backgrounds such as  internet marketing, on-line advertising, public relations and website design professions. Scores are given in seven individual categories: design, innovation, content, technology, interactivity, copywriting and ease-of-use.

Reegle has reached a high overall score, and was given outstanding appreciation in the category ease-of-use. When our team was re-designing reegle together with our designers and usability experts from “Ferrás Corporate Design” and our developers from “Semantic Web Company“, user satisfaction and intuitive navigation was considered a high priority, and the results show us we are on track achieving this important goal. Content was also particularly praised, and we are proud to share with you that reegle’s overall score was higher than industry and web award average.

Florian Bauer, reegle’s product manager, concluded in response to the announcement of reegle’s success: “We are honoured to receive this prestigious award and are especially pleased that the effort of redesigning reegle less than a year ago is recognized by senior members of the international web marketing fraternity. This recognition reflects reegle’s innovative spirit and claim as the number one information portal in clean energy. We know we are heading in the right direction and will continue that way!

As part of the recognition, reegle.info will be listed in the WebAward database and is also featured on a page dedicated to reegle.info on the Web Marketing Association’s WebAward site.
