Reegle’s country energy profiles now include even more relevant information for our users! Since reegle has been embracing the principles of (linked) open data, we have bee able to offer you exiting resources such as our comprehensive country energy profiles.
We already have interesting facts like energy statistics (visually presented), the policy and regulatory overview, projects outcomes, programs and local stakeholders for each and every country, but we are always on the outlook to find more details for you to dig into! We also ensure accuracy of the information by relying only on quality sources such as the UN, Word Bank or NREL (national laboratory of the U.S. Department of Energy, Office of Energy efficiency and Renewable Energy).
Cooperation with our long-terms partners from the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMU) has made a new feature within our country energy profiles possible. RES Legal is an exiting database that analyses the most important legislation on the support schemes for electricity from renewable energy sources and grid issues within the EU 27, put together on behalf of the BMU by eclareon, Geisser & von Oppen and the sunbeam GmbH. 
Under point “Legal Sources on support schemes and grid issues” you will now find new information like an “Overview of support system”, Means of support” (such as feed-in tariffs), an “Overview of grid issues”, “Provisions in detail” as well as links to numerous “Legal sources” of each European country.
We at reegle really feel that our country energy profiles are becoming a very valuable contribution for stakeholders, policy makers, project implementers and all concerned with accelerating our shift towards a low-carbon society. Even so we don’t lean back but keep on thriving to bring all relevant and energy-related information together in a widespread overview for all countries, making it easy for our users to be informed about what matters in clean energy and climate compatible development.
